One-component polyurethane waterproof coating is environment-friendly liquid flexible waterproof coating comprising the basic ingredient of polyether polyol and additives like non-tar asphalt. It cures after contacting steam in the air, forming a flexible and solid seamless overall waterproof film on the base layer. The adhesion between the coating and concrete and other base layers is very strong, effectively preventing water under the waterproof coating. And its inherent flexibility can resist any possible structural deformation and shrinkage crack.

Product features

The product can be applied to construction of damp base surfaces, featuring fast construction and shorter construction period; 

it is of great strength, high extensibility and high elastic recovery rate and can adapt itself well to base crack and stretch; 

it is of good flexibility under low temperatures; 

it can adhere to the base layer tightly, without the need of the brushing base treatment agent; 

the coating is compact and is free from pinholes and bubbles, the steam seepage coefficient is small, so it can serve as the waterproof layer and air isolation layer; 

different color can be provided at the request of customers; 

the 1-3mm thick coating can be brushed at one time, without bubbles. 

Construction methods

Base requirements: The base layer should be level, dry and free from sundries. Uneven positions and seams caused by base deformation and cracks should be leveled with cement mortar. Piping connecting the base layer, sanitary facilities and floor drain should be firm enough. Joints should be filled tightly. The closing end should be smooth, without looseness. 

Coating construction: Usually, three times of brushing should be carried out. To enhance the adhesion between the waterproof layer and the rigid protective layer, sparse clean sand grains should be poured on the surface before the coating is completely cured, and rigid protection construction can be carried out after the coating adhering to sand grains cures. 

Positions with detailed treatment should apply a waterproof layer: An additional waterproof layer should be applied to positions with detailed treatment, such as the internal and external corners, pipe root, cracks, deformation seams, etc. 

According to engineering requirements, coating construction can be completed in one step, and then construction of the protection layer is carried out after curing.
