Usable scope 

Applicable to waterproofing of architecture water-proof works such as various roofs, basements and tunnels, civil and industrial architecture roofs and underground engineering, cistern, municipal, bridge, subway, tunnel, dam, etc., especially suitable for key works with high requirements of durability, corrosion resistance and variability. 

 

Product features

This product is composed of different materials, significantly improving its performance, especially with the unique anti-aging layer which significantly improves the service life (more than 50 years) of the product. 

The upper and lower surfaces of the product are rough. The nonwoven fabrics are of irregular cross structure, forming 3D meshes, which enables high tensile strength, strong ability to resist infiltration, good flexibility under low temperatures, small expansion coefficient, low effect of temperature rise, strong deformation adaption ability and large friction coefficient. It can be used together with kinds of adhesives, achieving a good adhesion effect. 

When adhering the product to the cement base surface, the pure cement grout can be used as the adhesive. Pure cement grout can directly enter meshes on the roll surface and become cured with cement. Pure cement grout is free from aging, mildew and hydrolysis and is hard to peel off. 

After construction, decoration (e.g. pavement of ceramic tile, floor tile and mosaic tile and cement paste plastering) can be directly carried out on the waterproof surface of the product. 

For this product, there is no special requirement for the water content of the leveling layer (base layer). Construction can be carried out as long as there is no water, and the construction quality is reliable. 

This product belongs to resin PE polymer waterproof roll. 

 

Construction process

I. Construction procedure: Accept the leveling layer → clean the base layer→ prepare cement adhesive → do additional layer →base layer construction → protective layer → curing 

II. Before adhesion: Before bonding, spread the coiled material at first and adjust its position, and then fold the coiled material to roll it up; pour the prepared cement binder into the base layer, and scrap them evenly by a scrapper, and then push the coiled material forward and remove excess air and adhesive trapped in the coiled material promptly by the scraper. The pasting rate of roll and leveling layer is ≥85%. 

III. Seaming method: 

Roof waterproof seam construction: Vapor barrier, waterproof layer and additional layers use the lap seams and are pasted by the cement adhesive, with a width of 10cm. Additional layer seams and waterproof layer seams are stagger for more than 5cm. 

Basement waterproof seam construction: The seam should be lapped by the 10-15cm cover fillets, and the cover fillet shall be bonded by the polymer adhesive. 

For overlapping width of waterproof roll, the long edge should be 8-10cm. And the short edge should be 10-15cm. The seam of two neighboring short edges should be stagger for more than 100cm. And that of the included angle between the wall and the ground should be more than 30cm. 

IV. Protective layer: 

After the rolls are laid out, it is necessary to lay a 1: 2.5 cement mortar protective layer with a thickness of 2 cm on the waterproof layer. The layer is plastered in two times. The second overlapping layer must be stagger for more than 20 cm. The protective layer needs to be flat and cured by spraying water. 

When adhering Polymer polyethylene propylene (polyester) fiber waterproof roll to the main body of buildings and structures, dedicated cement produced by our company can be used as the adhesive. 

 

Construction application I: 

Roofing waterproofing: The constructor should pay special attention to the adhesion area and the adhesion strength between the roll and the leveling layer, which is a key technology of guaranteeing the waterproof effect and the waterproofing service life. 

Underground waterproof: Rolls should be used by applying back lining under water pressure. Peeling off should be prevented. The peeling off strength should be calculated if no back lining is applied. 

Indoor seepage control: When the product is applied to seepage control of internal wall, including the floor, after the roll is adhered, it should be guaranteed that surface decoration is carried out after curing of the adhesion layer. Before decoration of the internal wall, a layer of pure cement grout containing 1.5% adhesive powder dedicated to polyethylene propylene (polyester) fiber composite waterproof roll should be brushed on the roll. 

Ground dampproofing: When the product is applied to ground dampproofing, the thickness of the ground should be enough to guarantee the stability of ground, and the vertical height of roll of the wall feet should be no less than 200mm. 

Thermal insulation and air isolation: When the product is applied to air isolation of the thermal insulation layer, single-surface composite roll can be adopted. Its adhesion and pavement are the same as those of roof waterproofing. Seams apply double-surface composite roll strip. No protective layer is applied.

Seepage control of channels and impounding reservoir; seepage control of earth and rockfill dam

The product can also be applied to metallurgy, chemical pollution prevention, seepage control, pipeline waterproofing, mine waterproofing, road bridge waterproofing and channel waterproofing.
